Proceeds from the raffle will be split between The Hawkins Area Library & The Shane Jenness Special Needs Fund.

The quilt is on display at the Hawkins Area Library. Purchase tickets from any library board member or at the library. 


January Promotion: "Take the Chill Out with a Good Book"


Each week during the month, children preschool through 16 may pick a hat, scarf or pair of mittens from our snowflake tree. They will also receive a packet of hot chocolate mix. Adults can enter a drawing for a basket of warm & fuzzy items .







Preschool Story Time: October-May


The 1st Tuesday of the month   10:00am

Parents, grandparents and caregivers are invited to bring their little ones for a story, craft and explore our new Early Literacy Center.


 The Book Club: This group meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 1:30. Join them over a cup of coffee and enjoy the  fun and lively discussions. New members are always welcome.


Craft Club: The Hooks and Needles Club meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 10:00am. From beginners to experts, join this lively group as they share tips, projects and offer help to those just learning. No, fees, no fuss, just fun!  

Drop Off Site:The Lions Club: accepting glasses and hearing aids to help others. 

Cell Phones for Soldiers: Drop off your used cell phones which will be turned in for phone cards for soldiers deployed away from home.


Special Note to Parents:

The Library Board has revised our internet policy for anyone under 18, you will need to stop in and sign a new permission card. We will also be issuing new library cards for children.
