We are excited to announce that we will be trying a curbside pickup which is allowed under the new regulations from the governor.

Beginning Monday, May 4th, we will begin a curbside program as a trial basis. We will be following very strict rules with this and ask for your patience and cooperation as we see how this will work for everyone. Safety will come first and we ask that you follow the guidelines below.

You must place your order by looking through our online catalog

to see which items are available.

You can create a list and email it: hawkinslibrary@gmail.com

use the contact form on the website

or give us a call (715-585-2311) to check out items.

You will receive a call when your items have been pulled and are ready for pickup.

Pickup will only be available at the following times, no exceptions:

Mondays 10:00am-1:00pm

Thursdays 1:00pm- 5:00pm

We will have a designated pickup window, when you arrive come up to the window to get your order.

If you have books to return you must put them in the book return slot in the door. All items will be put in quarantine for 72 hours before we disinfect them and return them to the shelves.

Please do not linger, you must take your items and leave.

We can all get through this together by following the guidelines and being patient.

Find the e-card self-registration form here.

We are so sorry, but need to follow the recommendations from the state and health agencies and will close the library until further notice as of 5:00pm on Wednesday, March 18th. You can continue to drop off books and movies in the drop slot. There will not be any fines imposed during this time. All deliveries of inter library loans have been halted, so if you were waiting for something, we will let you know when they are operating again.

We hope you all stay safe and healthy and hope to see everyone soon.

Financial Resources to Help Get Through COVID-19

The coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, is impacting households, communities, and businesses. A new national survey shows that 1 in 5 households in the US have already had their income cut or stopped altogether. The frequently asked questions below highlight some common financial challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The answer to each question has links to government websites and the types of assistance that might be available. We will be adding additional information as new policies and resources are put into place.
